Casandra Bryant has been working in the field of capacity building and development, locally and internationally for 25 + years professionally and academically. Areas of expertise in communication for development, non-profit strategy, and women-led entrepreneurship.
Casandra works toward transformative and systemic change in gender equality, the environment, community economic development, and mental health and wellness. Her doctoral research in Rural Studies at the University of Guelph examines female-led social enterprise development in the Scottish Highlands & Islands and rural Canada. Her Master’s degree in Capacity Development and Extension and undergrad in International Development specialized in capacity building, communication media, and strategic partnerships.
