What is it?
Communities Leading in Tourism is a personal development programme, which will equip learners with the knowledge and leadership skills required to take forward community action on sustainable tourism. The programme has been developed by SEA, in partnership with HIE and SOSE.
Who is it for?
People working or volunteering with community or social enterprises from across rural Scotland, with an interest in tourism. This programme provides an opportunity for communities to engage and shape the future of local tourism and to share the value and benefits.
What is involved?
Timing: 12-day programme involving 6 live webinars and 6 days of online learning
Start date: Introduction on 11 January, programme starts 15th and 16th January 2021
Cost: £100
Closing date for applications: Monday 7th December 2020, 5pm
