Upland

Upland is a bold, ambitious, rural-based visual art and craft development organisation based in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland. Having evolved from Spring Fling Open Studios CIC, Upland not only presents the UK’s premier arts and crafts open studios event (Spring Fling) but it also provides year round support for artists and makers. Upland projects include Modern Makers and Emerge (Young Artist Bursary) along with professional development opportunities for young people and Upland Professional Members and community-based engagement projects.
