The first Rural Social Enterprise Network meeting of 2026, hosted by the Rural Social Enterprise Hub was held on the 3rd of February 2026 from 14:00 – 15:30, online via Teams. This session had a focus on Reflections from the Rural Social Enterprise Gathering held in Malaysia in November 2025, and stories of Net-ZERO Partnership from rural Scotland. Speakers included Alice Fogg (Voluntary Action Badenoch and Strathspey), Margaret McSporran (Highlands and Islands Enterprise), and Feargal De Buitleir (Home Energy Scotland). The event had an attendance of 26 individuals representing various rural organisations from across Scotland.
